5 Things We’re Most Excited About Coming To The Disney Treasure!

By Haleigh Beckman

The Disney Treasure will join Disney Cruise Line’s fleet and set sail in December 2024 on 7-night Eastern and Western Caribbean itineraries. She’s sure to bring amenities we already know and love about cruising with Disney, as well as unique spaces and features that can only be found aboard the adventure-themed vessel. While we anxiously await her arrival in Port Canaveral, let’s unpack the 5 things we’re most excited about!

Adventurous Accommodations

The Disney Treasure will boast 1,246 guest staterooms featuring characters and themes from some of Disney’s most exciting classic films, including ‘Aladdin,’ ‘Pocahontas,’ and ‘Encanto’ (among others). Concierge staterooms will additionally pay homage to one of the most revered animated movies of all time: ‘The Lion King.’ While we love enjoying all the onboard activities Disney Cruise Line has to offer, we have a feeling we’ll also want to spend a lot of time in these rooms taking in all the details. Hakuna Matata!

Periscope Pub

In this first-of-its-kind venue, the world of Disney’s ‘20,000 Leagues Under the Sea’ comes to the surface. Adults will be able to enjoy specialty drinks, craft beer, and light bites all while immersed in the surroundings of Captain Nemo’s famed Nautlius. We can’t wait to see what’s on the menu and will certainly keep our eyes peeled for the giant squid.

Plaza de Coco

On The Treasure’s sister ship, The Disney Wish, the world of Frozen comes to life at Arendelle: A Frozen Dining Adventure. We can’t wait for The Treasure’s own theatrical dining experience at Plaza de Coco! This restaurant will be one of the rotational dining locations aboard (another Disney innovation!) and will tell a story that picks up where Disney Pixar’s ‘Coco’ left off. There’s sure to be plenty of good food, fun, and familia!

Skipper Society

Staying with new dining spaces, The Disney Treasure will also be home to a lounge themed to the world-famous Jungle Cruise! It will be chock full of references to the iconic Disney Parks’ attraction, and we can only hope the staff with have new puns to share with us all. Best of all, since the Skipper Society will be right off the ship’s Grand Hall, we can bet that it will be a space the whole family can enjoy together during the day.

AquaMouse

Curse of the Golden Egg – Finally, we can’t wait to see the all-new show coming to The Treasure’s version of Disney Cruise Line’s signature attraction at sea! The AquaMouse up on the top deck will take guests through 760 feet of water slide alongside Mickey and Minnie as they embark on a crazy adventure through an ancient temple. A fittingly adventurous expedition for this ship!

But of course, the fun doesn’t stop there – The Disney Treasure will feature some guest-favorite spaces and activities found on the other ships in the fleet, like adult-exclusive dining at Palo Steakhouse, award-winning Disney’s Oceaneer Club kids’ space, and Broadway-style stage shows. We can’t wait to experience it all!
